Residential Complex for Dhammakya Temple Monks

The twelve-storey residential complexes were built to house the Dhammakaya Temple Nuns and Monks. It comprises three separate buildings and provides 70,000 sq. metres of living space. The building also includes prayer rooms, mediation rooms and can accommodate up to 2,000 Nuns and 6,000 Monks.

 

Due to the nature of the building, an extension of service life was necessary, achieved by enhancing the durability and creating a low maintenance structure.

 

A wide range of Xypex systems were used to protect the Asset and enhance its durability. Admixtures, coatings and dry pac systems were installed in the roof slabs, basement, wastewater treatment and potable water tanks, bathrooms and podiums.
